Hotel Kanta, Sousse, Tunisia
The Kanta Hotel is a four star hotel located on the Tunisian east coast, in the heart of the seaside resort of Port El Kantaoui Sousse. The hotel is set in a beautiful garden with hundreds of palm and olive trees, close to the beach and golf course, the marina is two hundred meters away and about twenty-five kilometres from the international airport of Monastir Skanes. The hotel has the double advantage of being close to both a sandy beach and the golf course. This hotel, with its architecture mixing modernism and tradition, has 260 rooms and a hundred studios.
The hotel has three buildings:
- Main building: there is the reception, the bar "La Palme d'Or", the main buffet restaurant "La Fontaine", the gastronomic restaurant "Newspaper", the reading room "Les Fougères", a bridge room, the Moorish café "l'Oasis", suites and rooms.
- On the opposite side of the swimming pools are the studios and flats.
-The third building consists of: an Iris Pub, a fitness room, an indoor swimming pool and a Wellness.
Rooms & Accommodation:
The hotel has 260 rooms and 100 studios in three buildings, set in a park with olive and palm trees. All rooms have standard equipment, air conditioning, mini bar and a balcony or terrace with table and chairs, the rooms are equipped with satellite TV, minibar and direct dial telephone. The flats have a fully equipped kitchen.
Restaurants & Bars:
The hotel has several restaurants offering Tunisian and international cuisine, either buffet or à la carte. Two bars and a snack bar are also available to guests of the Kanta.
The restaurant "La Fontaine" offers all guests a wide choice of Tunisian and international dishes in buffet or table service. Theme evenings.
"Les Chaumières " Light meals, sandwiches, pizzas, drinks are served around the swimming pools all day long.
"La Palme d'Or " All kinds of aperitif, or hot drinks until late at night.
The Snack Beach offers light meals in summer and all year round the bar serves drinks. PUCA PUB: Live music, Karaoke, Football, Billiards.
Hotel facilities:
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, heated in winter and equipped with sun beds and parasols. A gym, sauna and other wellness services are available at an additional cost.
Activities & Leisure:
Entertainment is provided in Kanta Hotel throughout the day and there are various sports activities available, such as tennis and mini golf. In the gardens you will find two large swimming pools with children's pools. The indoor pool is heated in winter.
Sun beds and mattresses are free of charge. Pool towels can be hired from the shop. The fitness centre and gym are available for a fee.
The hotel also offers 4 hard tennis courts and a mini golf course (balls are sold in the shop).
An entertainment team organises gym sessions and sports competitions (water polo, darts, petanque) during the day and light entertainment in the evening, at the pool or at the reception.
A few hundred metres away, the hotel has a beach with umbrellas and deckchairs available free of charge to hotel guests.
In summer, tuk-tuks provide a free shuttle service between the hotel and the beach.
